Our Online Teacher Summer Courses are approved by the Department of Education in Ireland and are eligible for up to 5 EPV days.
Accrediting Body
The mission of the Department of Education is to provide an education system where every child and young person feels valued and is actively supported and nurtured to reach their full potential. It places the student at the centre of education strategy and policy development and values learning as a public good. All Educator Knowhow's courses for primary school teachers are accredited by the Department of Education.
Features

- We provide facilitator and technical support during office hours from 9-5pm Monday to Friday.

Where applicable, course content makes meaningful links with the Literacy and Numeracy Strategy to promote innovation and excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.
- Teachers’ learning outcomes and experiences in literacy courses in English and in Irish are underpinned by the aims and pedagogical principles of The Primary Language Curriculum/Curaclam Teanga na Bunscoile 2019.
- Strategies to promote School Self-Evaluation underpin the design and content of all courses. The course design and learning outcomes for teachers are purposefully informed by the document, Looking at Our School 2016-A Quality Framework for Primary Schools (DE).
- Course design, content and learning outcomes for teachers are informed by the current Department of Education policies and strategies, and in particular, curriculum reform and implementation, and are focused on improving and promoting innovation and excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. For further information, a comprehensive summary of key national and training strategy documents are listed in Appendix 1, (p18-22) of Cumasú, Empowering through Learning, Statement of Strategy 2019-2022 (DE).
