Course Fees

Educator Knowhow provides clear pricing and descriptions of the courses it offers. The courses are sold individually and in bundles. If you purchase a bundle it is important to note the following:

The Department of Education requires you to train only on one course at a time. You MUST NOT begin a second course until you have completed your first or previous course. By purchasing a bundle as part of our Teacher Summer Course programme you agree to undertake to complete each course in a timely manner before the deadline/end of the programme period.

Cancellations

Educator Knowhow accepts its responsibility to ensure that sufficient numbers of registered teachers are enrolled in order for a course to go ahead. Educator Knowhow will confirm to the Department of Education by Friday, 4 pm June 24th 2022 that sufficient numbers are registered and that our advertised courses are going ahead. If Educator Knowhow has to cancel a course this will ensure that the affected teachers will have sufficient time to apply for an alternative course.

Note: Access to one course sold as part of a bundle is deemed to be access to all courses in the bundle.

Plagiarism and other acts of falsehood

Plagiarism is the act of presenting the work or ideas of others as your own, without due acknowledgement. It is the responsibility of the author of a work to ensure that he/she does not commit plagiarism. Plagiarism is fraudulent and an offence against integrity and is prohibited.

E-tutors will undertake random sampling of answers to Learner Activities, Forum Posts and End of Course Assignments to check for acts of plagiarism. Acts of plagiarism will not be tolerated. Work containing plagiarised content will not be graded or accepted as fulfilment of course requirements. An E-tutor who discovers plagiarised content will inform the participant that a breach of Educator Knowhow’s Terms and Conditions has occurred, which the participant agreed to when enrolling on the course. The Terms and Conditions prohibit plagiarism. E-tutors will offer the participant the opportunity to rectify the situation and resubmit their work. E-tutors will inform the participant that failure to address the situation in a resubmission will mean that the participant’s failure to act will prevent the e-tutor from grading their work and the plagiarised content in the work submitted will not count towards successful completion of a course and they will not receive a Certificate of Completion.

Submitting work that was previously submitted by another participant is also prohibited as well as impersonation, all of which results in a breach of these Terms and Conditions of service with the resultant failure of a participant successfully completing a course thereby preventing the Learning Management System from issuing a Certificate of Completion.
